My friend and I carry our bags sometimes so I try to keep my bag as light as possible. I carry 14 clubs, the bag, a rangefinder, only 8 balls, two golf towels a handful of tees and 4 or 5 gloves in normal weather. Weight 21lbs
14 clubs…staff bag…2 towels…tees, 3 gloves, 6 balls…rainsuit…waterfroof bucket hat…fifth of Chivas, Patron, or Grey Goose…Advil, bandaids, liquid skin, condoms…umbrella…bag of ice..cooler of Heinekin. But…I don’t walk…we have caddies or carts w/ rangefinders…LOL!
About 75 lbs, I’d guess.

Does anyone know how much a nice golf bag would cost? I don’t want that fancy of one, but a pretty nice one. Thanks.
Get yourself one of those big ‘ol leather staff bags. It will break your back getting it in and out of your trunk and lugging it around, but your buddies will think you’re a playah and you can fit a 12 pack in there (with ice) as well.

I have today paid a shocking price for a cart bag!! as a present for someone, I have also in the past, paid hundreds for one single golf club!
This is what the person in question really wanted, and i was glad to help out with their wishes.
what im asking is, is the high cost of golf gear really that important, and is it justified? nice answers only pls. I just dont get the whole thing about golf, especially in bad weather.
Sometimes the high prices can be justified, other times no. I try to spend as little as possible on accessories, since they really don’t help me play any better. Unfortunately, golf is a sport that really lends itself to pricey equipment, as golfers love to try out the new, flashy gear.
