My boss signed up the company to play golf in a charity tournament for one of our tenants. I have never played golf and purchased clubs, shoes and other basics to go and play. Now being that this was a work event and we were representing the company as well and looking for new tenets can I write this off on my taxes as a work expense like I would for mileage or a business lunch?
