About 1" shorter, a few swingweights lighter and the shaft is more flexible. For the average male player, you'd lose about 10 yards in using ladies clubs vs. men's. For the average teenage boy, they're not a bad choice. Stronger/taller women could hit men's clubs and likely see more control and more distance.

Lighter with shafts that flex (kickpoint) usually higher so can generate more clubhead speed through impact.

yes they are the shaft is generally a lot more flexible, the face more forgiving, and there is almost certainly going to be a splash of pink in there somewhere too!

Ladies golf clubs are (should be) shorter, lighter, and whippier in the shaft. Virtually all ladies’ clubs come with graphite shafts by default. Taller women who use men’s clubs are overlooking the fact the men’s clubs are stiffer, not just longer, and often struggle with them.

Many women felt that women’s clubs were not that different from men’s, so Nancy Lopez came out with a line that is specifically designed for women (as opposed to a man’s design adapted for women). Even the grips are different. If you google Nancy Lopez Golf Clubs you will find more info.

Yes since they're cut shorter. Tall women use men's clubs.

club for club, they have shorter shafts. Thats to reflect the fact that women are, generally, shorter than men. Also, women's shafts have different flex than mens to reflect different swing speeds.

The man is correct, lighter and shorter, usually made from a graphite shaft rather than steel or other metals to give more flex as well. Sometimes they will have different lofts to incorporate a females swing ability and need for distance. You can have clubs custom made for you also.
