In this week’s Gear Vault, news editor Luke Norman joins equipment maestro Jeremy Ellwood, as they test out Wilson’s new FYbrid fairway bridge club, as well as taking a look at the more traditional hybrids and fairway woods. Wilson say that the FY has the perfect loft and shaft length to sit between a 5-wood and a 3-hybrid. The fairway woods in the FY range all have cut-away sections in the sole to help shot-making and the 3-5 hybrids are all designed to replace specific irons.
